Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) is second to none when it comes to the striped feline and that makes it the favourite destination for every wildlife fanatic.
Maharashtra’s oldest and largest national park, having an area of 1,727 sq. km. (which includes Tadoba National Park, created in 1955), TATR is home to some of Central India’s best natural woodland bird species, sloth bears, and wild dogs along with the majestic tigers.
The terrain of Tadoba is varied, featuring dense woodlands, open meadows, and deep valleys. The park is open from October 15 to June 15 each year. The winter months (November to February) offer pleasant weather and good wildlife sightings. March to May provides the highest chances of tiger sightings.
